THE CULLODEN
PUBLIC LIBRARY PROJECT
The Culloden Public Library received a
grant in 2011 from the Rural Library
Project to support its summer reading
program and improve overall library
operations. With the financial support
of the Betty and Davis Fitzgerald
Foundation of Atlanta, the RLP was able
to supply two internet ready computers,
energy saving window tinting to lower
utility bills, Spanish language learning
CDs, office supplies, and provide staff
training. In its 10th year of
operation, the Culloden Public Library
currently serves over 20 students
enrolled in this year summer’s reading
program from Culloden and Monroe County.
